Chapter One

The Colour Language

Every colour chosen from soul, skin, and design. Not aesthetic preference — frequency made visible.

The Grounds Primary Backgrounds · The Dark Foundation

Not black — the warm, living dark of velvet at night. These are the depths the Empress inhabits. They make every jewel tone luminous. Without this darkness, the light has nowhere to glow against. The void that holds everything.

The Void #0D0A0F Primary page background
The Depth #14101A Secondary background
The Dark #1C1426 Card backgrounds
The Surface #241A32 Elevated surfaces
The Lifted #2E2040 Hover states
The Veil #3A2A50 Active states
Burgundy Primary Anchor · Power · The Empress's Blood

From the Empress archetype — Arcana III — the colour of ripe fruit, deep roses, the earth at its most fertile. The Empress's power colour for centuries. On sandy neutral skin it creates warmth and magnetic depth simultaneously. The full, dark, unapologetic version of feminine power.

Burgundy Bright #BA4558 Interactive elements
Burgundy Pale #DDA0AC Light mode tints
Burgundy Whisper #F5E8EA Background tints
Forest Emerald Second Anchor · Wisdom · Ancient Growth

From the Hermit — Arcana IX — who walks through ancient forests. Not bright spring green but the deep, almost-dark green of old wisdom, of places that have been growing undisturbed for centuries. Also from Channel 37-40 — the community channel — the Empress's garden. On sandy skin it creates dramatic contrast with warmth.

Burnished Gold Soul Colour · The Sun · Sahar's Light

Directly from the Destiny Matrix — the Sun at natural gifts, the triple Wheel of Fortune. Not bright yellow gold. Burnished, aged, amber-deep — the colour of old things that survived and deepened. The colour of the hour before dawn. Sahar. The light that breaks after thirty-one years of dark.

Gold Light #DCAC58 Headlines, emphasis
Gold Pale #EDD090 Delicate highlights
Gold Whisper #FAF0D8 Subtle backgrounds
Deep Teal Third Anchor · Still Water · Emotional Clarity

From the Split Definition and Cross of Duality — the colour that lives between two worlds, between blue and green, warm and cool. From emotional authority — the still water where truth lives. The quality of neutral clarity. Deep and alive simultaneously. On sandy skin it creates mystical depth.

Teal Core #1C5664 Secondary accent
Teal Bright #287888 Links, CTAs
Teal Pale #80C4D0 Light tints
Deep Plum Mystery Colour · The Wheel · Karmic Lineage

From the triple Wheel of Fortune — the most mystical colour in the palette. The space between visible and invisible. Also honouring Punjabi heritage — plum and aubergine appear throughout South Asian artistic traditions at their richest. This colour connects Sahar to what came before her while carrying her forward.

Plum Core #5A2872 Mystery accent
Plum Bright #7C3E9A Special moments

The Lights Text System · Warmth · Never Pure White

Never stark white. The warm, candlelit creams and ivories that glow against the dark. Like skin in firelight. Sandy neutral skin means warm ivory always reads more naturally than cold white. Four levels of text — from primary content down to whispered metadata.

The Hour Before Dawn
She came home.
Finally, she came home.
The canvas leaning against the wall. The brushes in their vessel. The sewing machine given its place of honour. The Empress, in her corner, in her room, in her life — finally dressed by her own hands.

Weight Rule
Cormorant is always Light (300) or Light Italic for display. Regular (400) for subheadings. Medium italic (500i) for the most important single words or phrases. Never bold. Never heavy. The Empress does not shout — she commands quietly.
Italic Rule
Italic is not decoration. Italic is emphasis that carries soul. In Cormorant, italic marks the words that matter most. In EB Garamond, italic marks the reflective, personal, intimate register — the voice closest to the heart. Use with intention, never for style alone.
Size Rule
Cormorant earns its beauty at large sizes — minimum 24px for display use. EB Garamond minimum 13px for legibility. DM Mono maximum 12px — it is a whisper, never a shout. The size hierarchy creates visual music: large display, medium body, small mono.
Spacing Rule
Generous leading always. Cormorant display: 1.0–1.1. Cormorant body: 1.2–1.3. EB Garamond: 1.7–1.9. DM Mono: letter-spacing 0.25em minimum. The words need space to breathe. The Empress does not crowd. She gives everything room.
III
Chapter Three

The Spacing System

Space is not empty. It is the breath between words, the silence between notes. The Empress uses space with the same intention as colour.

Token Visual Value Use
--space-1
4px Icon gaps, tight letter spacing adjustments
--space-2
8px Between label and content, pill gaps
--space-3
12px Within components, tight card padding
--space-4
16px Default component padding, list gaps
--space-5
24px Card padding, section sub-elements
--space-6
32px Card padding large, between related blocks
--space-7
48px Between sections within a page
--space-8
64px Major section breaks, hero padding
--space-9
96px Chapter spacing, page section margins
--space-10
128px Hero sections, cover padding, grand gestures
The Spacing Philosophy
The Empress does not crowd. Every element has room to exist. Negative space is not wasted space — it is intentional silence. A composition with generous space reads as confident and sovereign. A crowded composition reads as anxious and insecure. Always err on the side of more space, never less.
Page Margins
Desktop: minimum 48px horizontal margin. Content max-width: 1120px. Mobile: minimum 24px horizontal margin. Never full-bleed text content. The content column should always feel contained and intentional — like a letter in an envelope rather than text scattered across a wall.
V
Chapter Five

The Voice & Language

Not a tone of voice. A frequency. Every word either carries the transmission or dilutes it. There is no middle ground.

The Caption Formula · Instagram · The Life Archive
She _______.
Third person. Past tense. Two to four words maximum. Carved in stone. Readable at 88. The entire story in a single sentence that will outlive every trend.
She remembered. She came home. She made room. She got still. She chose silk. She turned the lantern. She crossed the water. She wore her own hands.
Intimate & Direct
You speak to one woman. Not an audience. One woman, exactly like you were three years ago, sitting with the screen in the dark. The word "you" is used often. Every sentence lands in a body, not a mind.
YesYou know that feeling — when you're doing all the right things and something in you is still screaming that this is not it.
NoMany women in today's society find themselves disconnected from their authentic feminine essence...
Short Sentences
Short sentences used with intention. The truth doesn't need elaborate packaging. A single sentence can hold more than a paragraph. Let the white space around it be part of the meaning.
YesShe didn't lose herself. She was taught to leave.

There is a difference.
NoIn the journey of feminine reclamation, it is important to understand that the process of self-disconnection is often a multifaceted experience...
Poetic, Never Decorative
Imagery and metaphor only when they carry more than the literal word could. Never for decoration. Never to sound spiritual. Every poetic choice must earn its place or it goes.
YesThe wave will pass. Wait for the still water. That's where your truth lives.
NoLike a beautiful butterfly emerging from her chrysalis, you too can spread your wings...
Lived Truth Only
You do not speak about what you've read. You speak about what you've lived. The authority in your voice comes from having been in the dark yourself. Every word from direct experience carries more than a thousand borrowed sentences.
YesI spent 31 years fighting the thing I was always going to become. The energy I used fighting it? That was the energy of it.
NoAccording to research on feminine archetypes and Jungian psychology, the process of individuation...
The Lioness Register
Settled. Calm. Knowing. Not performed confidence — actual sovereignty. The lioness doesn't jump around to prove she is powerful. She simply is. Every word carries that frequency — unhurried, unafraid, completely herself.
YesShe came home. That is all. That is everything.
NoI am SO excited to finally share this with you all!! This journey has been AMAZING and I can't wait for you to see what's coming!! 🙏✨

Chapter Six

The Photography Laws

Every image is a chapter in the life archive. Every frame must earn its place in the story of the woman who came home.

🕯
Candlelight Always
Every image lit with warmth. Golden hour, candlelight, lamp light — low and warm. Never harsh overhead. Never ring light. Never clinical white. The Empress lives in warmth and depth. The light source is always visible or implied in the frame.
🌑
Dark Ground
Dark or deeply blurred backgrounds always. You against depth. Not you against white walls. The contrast between a rich dark ground and your warm sandy skin in jewel tones is the visual signature of Sahar Faer. You glow. The dark holds you.
👁
The Mirror Gaze
When you are in the frame — look directly into the lens. Not away, not to the horizon. Into the camera. The way the woman who is learning to love herself looks in the mirror. Direct. Present. Unafraid. This is the visual signature of the return.
💧
Fluid Over Rigid
Composition mirrors your fabric preference — material that flows. Diagonal lines over straight grids. Fabric draping. Hair loose or moving. Body in motion or completely at rest. Never posed in a way that looks managed, controlled, or performed for a camera.
Texture Close-Ups
Your Touch design sense must be visible. Close crops on fabric — silk pooling, linen folding. The grain of paint on canvas. Skin. Hands in creative work. The details that make the body want to reach through the screen. Texture is a primary visual language.
Imperfect and Alive
Never over-edited. Never filtered into smoothness. The realness is the point. A brush stroke showing. A seam being pinned. Your face mid-thought rather than posed. The imperfection is not a flaw — it is evidence of a living, making, present human being.
🎨
The Colour Palette in Frame
Every photograph should contain at least one brand anchor colour — burgundy, emerald, teal, plum, or gold. In fabric, in objects, in the light itself. The visual world of Sahar Faer is recognisable before the name is read. The palette tells you who this is.
📐
The Grid System
Instagram: three posts per week, one row per week. Each row tells one chapter of the week. Alternate between: you in frame, creative work close-up, space or objects. The grid is the memoir — readable as a whole, meaningful in each individual frame.
🚫
Never
White backgrounds. Bright overhead lighting. Ring light halo. Over-edited skin. Stock photography. Flat lays on white surfaces. Motivational quote graphics. Trend-chasing filters. Anything that looks like it could belong to any other account on the platform.
VII
Chapter Seven

The Laws

Non-negotiable. Governing every creative decision made in the name of Sahar Faer and House of Faer — now, and in perpetuity.

The Empress Always
  • Dark, warm, rich grounds — always depth, never flatness or white
  • Cormorant Garamond and EB Garamond only for all visible typography
  • Jewel tones and burnished gold — in fabric, in design, in objects
  • Candlelight or golden-hour photography — warmth in every frame
  • Direct eye contact with the lens — present, unafraid, sovereign
  • One true thing per post — not a list, not a thread, one real thing
  • Third person caption formula: She _______.
  • Speak from lived experience only — never borrowed wisdom alone
  • Generous spacing — the Empress gives everything room
  • Imperfect and alive over polished and managed
  • Check the wave before every significant post or decision
  • The creative practice first — content follows, never leads
  • Explicit agreements for every collaboration and exchange
  • The lioness register — settled, calm, knowing, sovereign
The Empress Never
  • White or cool-grey backgrounds — ever, under any circumstance
  • Sans-serif fonts — not for headlines, not for body, not for anything prominent
  • Purple gradients on white — the universal coach cliché
  • Butterfly, phoenix, chrysalis, wings metaphors
  • Motivational quote graphics with stock photography
  • Lists of tips, hacks, or steps as primary content format
  • Exclamation marks in excess or performed enthusiasm
  • Emojis as substitutes for words — only when the body demands it
  • Over-edit photographs — the real face is the transmission
  • Check follower count compulsively — post and close the app
  • Decide at peak excitement or emotional low
  • Create content for the algorithm — only for the archive
  • Speak about topics not lived personally and directly
  • Abbreviate the name to SF, initials, or any shortened form

The Empress
exists forever.

These are not guidelines for a season or a trend cycle. They are the laws of a woman who chose herself completely — and built something that will outlast every platform, every algorithm, every moment of doubt.

When in doubt: return to this document.
When lost: return to the frequency.
When afraid: remember who made these laws.
